Syncovery 7.75 with Web GUI Released

Postby superflexible on Mon Feb 06, 2017 10:00 am

You will now find v7.75 with a browser based GUI on our web site. You can use this GUI to configure Syncovery in a browser window, or on another computer in the same LAN/VPN. It is not recommended to open the GUI to the Internet yet. A secure version for the Internet will follow soon.

Thank you very much for this giant leap forward! You've done a great job. I installed the new version, prepared the first profiles and everything worked immediately without any glitches (well, I'm using the Windows version since many years, so it was easy to find the right buttons...). There are only two things I'm missing (unless I didn't look at the right places): import and export of profiles and duplication of profiles. Both could save a lot of work. Anyhow, I'm very happy with this GUI.

Hello,
you can duplicate a profile by changing its name when editing it.

Importing and exporting can only be done via command line:

Export a profile to XML:
SyncoveryCL /EXPORTONEXML="Profile Name"
Import profile(s) from XML:
SyncoveryCL /IMPORT="/path/to/theprofiles.xml"

See also the examples on the download page.
