Sync in real time

Postby priestnot on Tue Nov 01, 2011 3:50 pm

I am tring to configure SFFS in linux to make a back up to a server, but i wold like it to do in real time not on a schedule basis.

I know that previous versions of SFFS did not have this function but now i see on your website "Finally, the Linux version is on the same level as on Windows and Macintosh." and i hoped for this function to be implemented on the linux version.

As i was testing it had this function i noticed that in wizard mode in steep 5 it has the Synchronize in Real time option, but unfortunately it does not work. So i tried in advance mode but i cannot find that option in that mode.

The test i made was older to folder in the same hard drive sync.

So what i am asking is if the real time sync is implemented in the linux version and if it is how can i make it work.

I don't know yet, it may take a few months because I am working on other things.
