Running 32 bit Compare (WinMerge) from 64 bit Syncovery

Postby M_Meyer on Mon Aug 06, 2018 1:35 am

Hi,
until now, I was running 32 bit Syncovery and using WinMerge (32 bit) for external file compare.
Now I switched to 64 bit Syncovery 8.00g and observed that file compare does not work any more.
When doing "Compare Files..." from Syncovery, there is always Windows Explorer with folder "C:\Program Files" opened, not WinMerge.
Any ideas?

Found it:
The Path must be with quotation marks.
This was different in V7.
The quotation marks are also NOT automatically added when editing this path in the setting.

Hello,
yes, it was a bug in some versions. The latest versions have fixed it now.
