Beep when task has finished?

Postby Mech_Man on Sun Feb 25, 2018 2:20 am

Is there a way to have Syncocovery beep or make some kind of alert sound when it's done with the process selected?

IE: I want to run a profile manually, and only when it's done, do several others. So knowing that the first has completed would call my attention back to the program so I could start the next task.

Hello,
you could Google for a tool such as beep.exe and invoke it via Job->Execute before/after in the profile.

Also, if you run a job in attended or unattended mode (not in the background), then Syncovery will try to get your attention by flashing the program icon in the task bar when a job is complete.

You can also increase the tray balloon notification level by right-clicking the tray icon.

You can also chain profiles. Just type
RUN PROFILE Second Profile Name
as the "Execute after" command line in the same dialog mentioned above.

Thanks for the fast response.

I'd not seen the Chain functionality. That helps a lot.
(I may try the Beep.com too).
