Auto run in Linux mint/ubuntu

I'm running Linux mint 17. I need to know how to get the realtime sync to load at startup and run 24/7

I don't think it's possible, but we will have a new LInux release later this year. Then it should be possible. But real-time sync is not part of the Linux version, only regular syncs. I am not sure when real-time will be added.
