Syncovery system load/resources

Postby arcom on Fri Apr 03, 2015 7:49 pm

Hello,
One of our clients wants to install Syncovery on a music production MacBook Pro. They want to run the backups manually and hope that there is a possibility to install syncovery in such a way that there is nothing running in the background when Syncovery is not started. From the FAQ, I understood that, if you don't run the process as a service and if you don't put schedules in your profiles, the background scheduler will not run. So we just want confirmation that it is possible to run Syncovery only when needed and have nothing from Syncovery running when not needed.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hello,
thanks for your interest! Yes that is correct. If you don't schedule your jobs, then the scheduler will not be started and no background processes will run at all.

You can run your jobs manually in attended or unattended mode any time, via the GUI.
