Character set (ANSI/UTF-8)

Postby ip-seis on Tue Aug 20, 2013 11:29 am

Hello!
On left path we have files with latin characters (áéíóúAÉÍÓÚñÑ...) and when any file (or folder) is copied to the right side shows a "?" inside a diamond (look at the capture image with a diamond instead of "€" char).

If we lunch the same profile (to update) then syncovery tries to delete the file with the "?" (it can't delete it) and copies again the file (and again with the "?" in the name)

Both sides are W2K12, on right side sFTPserver is listening (SFTP protocol).
If i copy a file (with any problematic symbol) with filezilla everything is fine. I tried ANSI and UTF-8 on Internet button of syncovery options with no luck.

Any clue?
Thanks in advance

We talked about by email, apparently this SFTP server does not work with UTF-8, so a different server software solved the problem (CoreFTP server or Bitvise SFTP server).
