Postby user1 on Mon Feb 04, 2013 12:26 pm

hi,
i am using super flexible version 4.84 to get an exact mirror from my ftp account, and its building the entries with no problem, but then it says 0 Bytes of 184 GB (0.00%) and its not doing anything any help on that?

using windows 7, my ftp server is filezilla, the left path is the ftp address the right path is my local pc address, and its copy left to right in exact mirror running in background mode.

Please try version 5.73 (at least) or version 6. Try the three different FTP libraries. Run the job in attended mode in the foreground so you can see better progress, and look at the log file after the job has finished or you have canceled it.

ok, i installed the 5.73 version, and started the backup in attended mode, but it just freezed, till i kicked out the ip from the filezilla server, then it came in by itself another time and went fine building the list very fast, but when it came to download the files its so slow, unbelieveble, how can i optimize that? its downloading 41KB\s really slow, i need to download about 70GB data, i cant continue like that.

It could be that the routing on the FTP server side is not set up correctly.

On the client side, you can try the three different FTP libraries 1,2,3 and also try Passive Mode on or off.
