Folder Time Stamp

Postby brians on Wed Mar 17, 2010 10:10 pm

Is there a way to adjust the format of the folder time stamp? This setting is located under the Folder section of the Profile. The option is called "Include Time of Day In Created Folder Name". It looks like the default is date-time, similar to "2010-03-17 10.38.08 PM". I was curious if the format could be adjusted, something like "03-17-2010" or "03-17-2010 10.38.08". Thanks!

Hello,

yes, you can uncheck this setting and construct the date yourself. For example, as destination path you can type:

D:\Data\$YEAR-$MONTHNUM-$DAYOFMONTH

That will be best for sorting.

Thank you. However, where do you actually put in these advanced parameters? If I uncheck the setting, where do I enable and set the advanced parameters?

You type these as the DESTINATION PATH.

If you now have

D:\Data

in the future you will have

D:\Data\$YEAR-$MONTHNUM-$DAYOFMONTH
