Log files?

Postby Jack on Fri Mar 12, 2010 6:26 pm

I have a bunch of .thread*.log files. The more space I clear on my hard drive the more space they take up. What are these files for and how can I get them to be smaller or go away?

Do you have any of the special log checkmarks ticked, those intended only for troubleshooting in the lower half of the Logs tab sheet on the Program Settings dialog?

The only thing there is "separate log file for each run" and keep 50 logs per profile.

These are in the program directory which is not the log file location either. I did look in one and it is an FTP log. I can't find anything about FTP logs or how to limit them.

Any ideas?

I'm using v5 buld 20 if it matters.

Hi,

OK it's probably a "feature" of the preview build where it writes these logs even though they aren't selected. I will fix this in the next update very soon. You can just delete them whenever you want.

OK. I'll delete them then.

I notice v5 build 21 is out. Does this fix the problem I referenced in this thread?
