Filter issues

Postby fgomez on Wed Apr 11, 2012 10:28 am

Hi,

I'm having a problem with filtering out certain folders to be excluded in the backup. I'm using the same setup as the windows version but on the linux version it seems to ignore the folders I placed in Exclusion Masks.

I'm trying to exclude the following:
/proc
/sys
/lost+found
/mnt
/dev

With the linux version it's still downloading those folders. Because of this, instead of just a 15GB backup, It's trying to download/backup 128TB worth of files (thanks to kcore which is in /proc).

Any idea why this is happening and/or how to fix it?

Thanks.

I don't know the cause, but it would probably help to leave away the slashes:

proc
sys
lost+found
mnt
dev

That will exclude these folder names anwhere in the hierarchy.
