How to create profile job that runs after x mins w/no files

Postby tamayok on Thu Feb 21, 2019 2:45 pm

Hi,

I would like to know if there is a way to create/execute a profile that runs after x minutes without having to synchronize (move or copy) any given file ---- simply execute a custom EXE.

My workaround consists of creating a mock file and have the profile move it one destination to the other THEN run my .EXE.

I realize the OS Scheduler does this but since I have so many other Synch-Tasks under Syncovery, I wish to have this as well there.

Hello,
sorry for the late reply ... you do need to specify a source and destination folder in each job, but it doesn't have to find any files to copy.

Additional features are available in Syncovery 8 via PascalScript, which can also execute external commands.
