"Exclude all - include spesific" does not copy files

Postby idimsh on Tue Dec 12, 2017 5:44 am

Hi,
I created a syncovery profile as follows
Code: Select all
[Profiles]
opt_New--Manual Misc Files from C=C:\
E:\backups\syncovery-backups\xmg-laptop\misc-files-from-c

[BaseFolderItems]
bfs_New--Manual Misc Files from C=B:

[FileMasks]
msk_New--Manual Misc Files from C=C:\Users\dimsh\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Signatures\*; - *C:\Users\dimsh\.ssh\*;

[EncryptionPasswords]
epw_New--Manual Misc Files from C=

[ExcludeMasks]
xcl_New--Manual Misc Files from C=*

[Reports]
rep_New--Manual Misc Files from C=7 folders created

On the destination (right side) only folders are created with no files inside them.

I set the patterns in "Masks and Filters", I do not want to go with "Include Subfolders -> Select".

Any thoughts why no files have been copied and how to resolve?

Unfortunately it does not work that way. Right now I can only recommend creating separate profiles for different folders. Maybe you can combine some with a common parent folder and either use the subfolder selection, or Exclusion Masks such as

Thanks for the reply. Will try different ways.

I thought it would work like "duplicity" tool for Linux or so, but when it created folders and skipped files it looked like a bug.
