I have a problem with the Background Scheduler it works for some time then after about 7 hours it jams up and I get the spinning ball icon when I put my mouse over it in the Menu Bar. I then have to force quit it in the activity monitor application then restart it from the Super Flexible File Synchronizer application.

This is a problem because it stops backing up my files which I am getting backed up ever 3 hours.

How can I get this issue fixed

What kinds of jobs are you running, for example with FTP or SSH? Regular syncing or real-time? Can you go to the Scheduler tab sheet and click the Settings button and make sure that "Run profiles in parallel" is checked? That way they are run in a separate thread and can't cause the whole scheduler to hang.

Also please click on the scheduler icon in the menu bar and choose "Show Activity Window" in order to check that the version is really the latest.

They type of syncing is local drives only including my iDisk and it is regular syncing which is times one is every 20 minutes my iDisk, the others at 3,4,5 am in the morning. I checked and the setting is set for Start in Profiles in Parallel. checked the version from Show Status window and it is correct 5.21c
