Is there no way to disable SyncoveryGuardian.exe completely ? It's always using a lot of CPU.
I tried already by disabling the "Restart Scheduler process after ....." in Settings/Misc, but SyncoveryGuardian.exe is still started and CPU-usage remains the same

Hello,
this service is not needed at all. When running the Syncovery Setup EXE, you can choose if you want the Guardian or not. The only purpose of the guardian is to regularly check that the Syncovery scheduler service is running. But this only works when the scheduler is installed as a service - not when it runs as a background scheduler.

If you have already got it, you can disable it under Windows Control Panel -> Admin Tools -> Services. Just stop the Syncovery Guardian service and disable it.

You can un-register (uninstall) the service in a Windows Command Prompt (Admin):

cd "\Program Files\Syncovery"
SyncoveryGuardian /UNINSTALL

Then you can delete SyncoveryGuardian.exe.
